Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Real Estate and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which rose 5.99% or 106 points to trade at 1876 at the close. Meanwhile, Afriquia Gaz (CS:AGAZ1) added 5.96% or 137 points to end at 2437 and Centrale Danone (CS:CDA) was up 5.26% or 27 points to 540 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which fell 8.18% or 8.02 points to trade at 89.98 at the close. Sothema (CS:SOT) declined 5.14% or 64 points to end at 1181 and Auto Hall (CS:AUTO) was down 4.50% or 4.90 points to 104.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 21 to 17 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.89% or 1.29 to $43.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.88% or 1.32 to hit $44.52 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 2.76% or 35.00 to trade at $1231.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.36% to 10.7660, while USD/MAD rose 0.12% to 9.9315.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 99.06.
