Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Holding Companies, Telecoms and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM), which rose 9.97% or 18.75 points to trade at 206.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Managem (CS:MNG) added 5.54% or 72 points to end at 1372 and Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) was up 5.19% or 2.96 points to 60.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which fell 6.35% or 1.51 points to trade at 22.27 at the close. Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) declined 5.96% or 8.35 points to end at 131.65 and Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) was down 4.67% or 0.98 points to 20.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 25 to 16 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Managem (CS:MNG) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.54% or 72 to 1372. Shares in Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) fell to all time lows; down 4.67% or 0.98 to 20.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.68% or 0.80 to $48.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.36% or 0.69 to hit $51.61 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.55 to trade at $1200.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.16% to 10.7130, while USD/MAD fell 0.17% to 10.0698.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 101.28.
