Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Utilities, Pharmaceutical Industry and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Brasseries Du Maroc (CS:SBM), which rose 5.96% or 149 points to trade at 2649 at the close. Meanwhile, SMI (CS:SMI) added 5.71% or 200 points to end at 3700 and CDM (CS:CDM) was up 5.11% or 26 points to 535 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO), which fell 5.98% or 101 points to trade at 1589 at the close. Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU) declined 4.71% or 8.00 points to end at 162.00 and Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) was down 4.43% or 2.48 points to 53.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 23 and 3 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.18% or 0.58 to $49.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.53% or 0.29 to hit $55.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.67 to trade at $1329.67 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.01% to 11.1410, while USD/MAD fell 0.01% to 9.3740.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 92.28.
