Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Pharmaceutical Industry and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Alliances (CS:ADI), which rose 7.74% or 12 points to trade at 164 at the close. Meanwhile, Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU) added 6.31% or 8.90 points to end at 150.00 and Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) was up 3.70% or 5.00 points to 140.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL), which fell 6.34% or 3.86 points to trade at 57.04 at the close. CDM (CS:CDM) declined 5.33% or 26 points to end at 470 and Disway SA (CS:DWY) was down 3.81% or 15.00 points to 379.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 20 to 19 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.23% or 1.08 to $47.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.75% or 0.90 to hit $50.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1203.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 10.7090, while USD/MAD rose 0.02% to 10.0600.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 101.42.
