Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Telecoms and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which rose 9.30% or 3.30 points to trade at 38.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) added 8.33% or 1.98 points to end at 25.75 and Sothema (CS:SOT) was up 5.96% or 101 points to 1796 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Med Paper (CS:PAP), which fell 3.25% or 0.74 points to trade at 22.00 at the close. Risma (CS:RIS) declined 3.16% or 5.00 points to end at 153.00 and Douja Prom Addoha (CS:ADH) was down 2.86% or 0.40 points to 13.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 20 to 16 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.82% or 0.98 to $54.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.20% or 1.34 to hit $62.18 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.45 to trade at $1321.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.12% to 10.9197, while USD/MAD fell 0.10% to 9.5190.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 95.227.
