Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Holding Companies, Transport and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM), which rose 9.98% or 29.95 points to trade at 329.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Timar (CS:TIM) added 5.86% or 11.95 points to end at 216.00 and Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) was up 4.55% or 1.92 points to 44.12 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Involys (CS:INV), which fell 3.83% or 4.90 points to trade at 123.00 at the close. Salafin (CS:SLF) declined 2.98% or 26 points to end at 862 and Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) was down 2.78% or 5.00 points to 175.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 29 to 13 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 4.84% or 2.33 to $45.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.89% or 1.95 to hit $48.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.21 to trade at $1293.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.05% to 10.9540, while USD/MAD rose 0.08% to 9.7265.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 96.61.
