Investing.com -- U.S. stocks fell on Wednesday as investors looked forward to central bank decisions on interest rates. Here are the midday movers for June 8:

  • Moderna Inc (NASDAQ:MRNA) stock rose 3% after a study showed a new booster dose that targets the Omicron variant of Covid-19 produced a good immune response.
  • Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) stock rose nearly 1% after the social media company said it would provide Elon Musk the bot data he wants to evaluate the number of fake accounts on the platform. Musk has threatened to walk away from his take-private offer.
  • Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) stock rose 2.5% after reporting better-than-expected revenue and profit and raising its full-year sales forecast. It kept its profit forecast the same and said it expects higher inflation than before.
  • DocuSign Inc (NASDAQ:DOCU) stock rose 2.5% after it announced an expanded partnership with Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) that aims at the new work-from-anywhere office culture.
  • Novavax Inc (NASDAQ:NVAX) shares were up nearly 6% a day after the advisory panel to the Food and Drug Administration said it recommends the company's Covid-19 vaccine for adults. That would make it the fourth vaccine available in the U.S.
  • State Street Corp (NYSE:STT) stock fell 4.5% after a report the Boston-based financial services company was considering a bid for Credit Suisse (NYSE:CS), which warned of another loss.
