JPMorgan loses share in junk bond underwriting, Barclays gains: Bloomberg

JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM) holds onto the number one slot in U.S. high-yield bond underwriting rankings, but lost some ground, Bloomberg reports.
JPM's market share slipped to 9.91% at the end of June, down from 11.17% a year earlier.
Barclays's (NYSE:BCS) share increased to 7.91%, giving it a second place ranking, compared with 7.55% a year ago.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch (NYSE:BAC) fell one slot to third place with 7.32% of market share vs. 9.57% Y/Y.
Total high-yield bond issuance so far this year is $117.24B, down 31% Y/Y.
