Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 fell 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Ferrari NV (MI:RACE), which rose 2.87% or 1.90 points to trade at 68.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Telecom Italia (MI:TLIT) added 1.68% or 0.0140 points to end at 0.8480 and Recordati (MI:RECI) was up 1.39% or 0.44 points to 32.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Buzzi Unicem (MI:BZU), which fell 3.27% or 0.77 points to trade at 22.75 at the close. STMicroelectronics (MI:STM) declined 2.91% or 0.430 points to end at 14.360 and CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI) was down 2.73% or 0.245 points to 8.740.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 180 to 168 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.75% or 0.36 to $47.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.22% or 0.11 to hit $50.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.25 to trade at $1254.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.69% to 1.0873, while EUR/GBP fell 0.09% to 0.8651.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 98.94.
