Bitcoin price today: hits new record high near $120k ahead of ’crypto week’
Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Azimut Holding SpA (BIT:AZMT), which rose 2.55% or 0.67 points to trade at 26.91 at the close. Meanwhile, A2A SpA (BIT:A2) added 1.95% or 0.05 points to end at 2.35 and FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (BIT:FBK) was up 1.71% or 0.33 points to 19.59 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nexi SpA (BIT:NEXII), which fell 2.47% or 0.13 points to trade at 5.12 at the close. Saipem SpA (BIT:SPMI) declined 2.07% or 0.05 points to end at 2.37 and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA (BIT:BMPS) was down 1.43% or 0.10 points to 7.12.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 294 to 290 and 47 ended unchanged.
Shares in A2A SpA (BIT:A2) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.95% or 0.05 to 2.35. Shares in FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (BIT:FBK) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.71% or 0.33 to 19.59.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.55% or 1.66 to $66.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.21% or 1.48 to hit $68.35 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 9.50 to trade at $3,352.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.53% to 1.15, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 98.61.
