Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI), which rose 6.08% or 0.470 points to trade at 8.195 at the close. Meanwhile, Exor (MI:EXOR) added 2.21% or 0.86 points to end at 39.82 and Tenaris (MI:TENR) was up 2.10% or 0.30 points to 14.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Generali (MI:GASI), which fell 3.00% or 0.35 points to trade at 11.30 at the close. Unipol (MI:UNPI) declined 2.57% or 0.074 points to end at 2.802 and Yoox Net-A-Porter Group SpA (MI:YNAP) was down 1.52% or 0.38 points to 24.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 219 to 184 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.19% or 0.09 to $48.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $49.16 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.84% or 22.25 to trade at $1188.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.59% to 1.0562, while EUR/GBP fell 0.94% to 0.8472.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 101.62.
