Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 rose 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Yoox Net-A-Porter Group SpA (MI:YNAP), which rose 5.88% or 1.32 points to trade at 23.77 at the close. Meanwhile, Buzzi Unicem (MI:BZU) added 3.37% or 0.74 points to end at 22.70 and UBI Banca (MI:UBI) was up 3.08% or 0.1060 points to 3.5480 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlantia (MI:ATL), which fell 2.67% or 0.62 points to trade at 22.60 at the close. Saipem (MI:SPMI) declined 2.22% or 0.0089 points to end at 0.3926 and Tenaris (MI:TENR) was down 1.78% or 0.27 points to 14.94.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 202 to 134 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.06% or 0.03 to $50.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.30% or 0.16 to hit $53.09 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1281.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.35% to 1.0749, while EUR/GBP rose 0.05% to 0.8384.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 99.54.
