Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 gained 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (BIT:FBK), which rose 8.10% or 1.44 points to trade at 19.23 at the close. Meanwhile, Buzzi Unicem (BIT:BZU) added 8.04% or 3.96 points to end at 53.20 and STMicroelectronics (BIT:STMMI) was up 4.52% or 1.04 points to 24.03 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amplifon (BIT:AMPF), which fell 15.67% or 3.79 points to trade at 20.40 at the close. Inwit (BIT:INWT) declined 4.42% or 0.43 points to end at 9.19 and Brunello Cucinelli (BIT:BCU) was down 3.73% or 4.50 points to 116.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 313 to 239 and 33 ended unchanged.

Shares in Buzzi Unicem (BIT:BZU) rose to all time highs; up 8.04% or 3.96 to 53.20. Shares in Inwit (BIT:INWT) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.42% or 0.43 to 9.19.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.98% or 0.65 to $65.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.74% or 0.51 to hit $68.79 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.36 to trade at $2,924.64 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.22% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.29% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 103.98.
