Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Amplifon (BIT:AMPF), which rose 4.51% or 1.16 points to trade at 26.89 at the close. Meanwhile, Recordati (BIT:RECI) added 2.22% or 1.15 points to end at 53.00 and Bper Banca SpA (BIT:EMII) was up 2.07% or 0.11 points to 5.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ERG (BIT:ERG), which fell 1.52% or 0.36 points to trade at 23.40 at the close. Tenaris SA (BIT:TENR) declined 0.97% or 0.14 points to end at 14.74 and Interpump Group (BIT:ITPG) was down 0.73% or 0.30 points to 41.02.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 258 to 243 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.29% or 2.45 to $76.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.11% or 2.43 to hit $80.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 3.35 to trade at $2,664.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.00% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.34% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.23.
