Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.83% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TA:MLSR), which rose 2.25% or 440 points to trade at 19990 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) added 0.84% or 39 points to end at 4700 and Avner Oil Exploration LP (TA:AVNRp) was up 0.81% or 2.0 points to 248.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Partner (TA:PTNR), which fell 4.42% or 94 points to trade at 2034 at the close. Cellcom (TA:CEL) declined 3.99% or 155 points to end at 3725 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 2.92% or 85 points to 2825.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 231 to 177 and 28 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.88% or 0.43 to $48.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.56% or 0.29 to hit $51.33 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 9.15 to trade at $1243.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.29% to 3.6357, while EUR/ILS rose 0.95% to 3.9304.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.62% at 99.54.
