Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.46% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 2.32% or 65 points to trade at 2870 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) added 1.47% or 23 points to end at 1586 and Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) was up 1.36% or 50 points to 3735 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Melisron (TA:MLSR), which fell 2.60% or 530 points to trade at 19820 at the close. Harel (TA:HARL) declined 2.38% or 48 points to end at 1965 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was down 2.09% or 175 points to 8195.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 310 to 92 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.10% or 0.53 to $47.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.73% or 0.37 to hit $50.55 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.55 to trade at $1255.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.71% to 3.6088, while EUR/ILS rose 0.09% to 3.9282.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 98.87.
