Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Real Estate, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which rose 2.86% or 590 points to trade at 21240 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) added 2.65% or 37 points to end at 1434 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was up 2.18% or 37 points to 1737 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG), which fell 3.60% or 720 points to trade at 19280 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 3.14% or 810 points to end at 24950 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was down 3.03% or 70 points to 2240.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 210 to 196 and 95 ended unchanged.
Shares in Leumi (TA:LUMI) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.18% or 37 to 1737. Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; down 3.03% or 70 to 2240.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.98% or 0.97 to $49.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $52.51 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 10.25 to trade at $1266.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.5741, while EUR/ILS rose 0.04% to 4.0020.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 97.33.
