Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which rose 1.51% or 300 points to trade at 20170 at the close. Meanwhile, Alony Hetz (TA:ALHE) added 1.33% or 43 points to end at 3279 and Airport City (TA:ARPT) was up 1.19% or 52 points to 4435 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which fell 1.99% or 350.0 points to trade at 17280.0 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 1.74% or 41 points to end at 2319 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 1.67% or 1170 points to 69000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 207 to 174 and 60 ended unchanged.
Shares in Airport City (TA:ARPT) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.19% or 52 to 4435.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.41% or 0.76 to $54.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.14% or 0.64 to hit $56.82 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.15 to trade at $1234.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.13% to 3.7004, while EUR/ILS fell 0.96% to 3.9000.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 101.44.
