Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 1.49% or 500 points to trade at 34100 at the close. Meanwhile, Poalim (TA:POLI) added 0.68% or 15 points to end at 2235 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was up 0.67% or 10 points to 1499 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which fell 1.46% or 3.9 points to trade at 263.0 at the close. Melisron (TA:MLSR) declined 1.15% or 190 points to end at 16330 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 1.14% or 16 points to 1385.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 161 to 158 and 125 ended unchanged.
Shares in Poalim (TA:POLI) rose to 5-year highs; up 0.68% or 15 to 2235.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.16% or 1.12 to $50.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.35% or 1.24 to hit $51.43 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.23% or 2.90 to trade at $1267.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.41% to 3.8477, while EUR/ILS fell 0.05% to 4.2044.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 98.32.
