TSMC Q2 sales jump 39% on robust AI-driven chip demand
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.56%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 2.79% or 4,140.00 points to trade at 152,540.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 0.90% or 250.00 points to end at 28,150.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was up 0.11% or 7.00 points to 6,198.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Menora Miv Hld (TASE:MMHD), which fell 3.39% or 670.00 points to trade at 19,080.00 at the close. First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) declined 3.37% or 720.00 points to end at 20,670.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was down 3.26% or 640.00 points to 18,990.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 411 to 53 and 75 ended unchanged.
Shares in Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.79% or 4,140.00 to 152,540.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.75% or 0.51 to $67.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.85% or 0.59 to hit $69.18 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.89% or 63.20 to trade at $3,406.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.79% to 3.56, while EUR/ILS rose 1.63% to 4.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 97.90.
