Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which rose 9.63% or 439 points to trade at 4997 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 4.55% or 113 points to end at 2595 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was up 4.25% or 470 points to 11520 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF), which fell 3.55% or 260 points to trade at 7061 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) declined 3.49% or 12.9 points to end at 357.0 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 2.90% or 201 points to 6719.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 290 to 110 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shufersal (TASE:SAE) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.55% or 113 to 2595. Shares in Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) rose to all time highs; up 4.25% or 470 to 11520.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.84% or 0.36 to $42.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.23% or 0.56 to hit $44.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.16% or 22.95 to trade at $1947.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.07% to 3.4005, while EUR/ILS rose 0.06% to 4.0301.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 92.828.
