Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 1.15% or 32.00 points to trade at 2,810.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 0.93% or 22.00 points to end at 2,390.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 0.80% or 100.00 points to 12,600.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which fell 4.01% or 120.00 points to trade at 2,870.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 3.20% or 81.00 points to end at 2,453.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 3.08% or 37.00 points to 1,163.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 302 to 155 and 40 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.14% or 0.82 to $70.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.20% or 0.92 to hit $75.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 11.75 to trade at $1,915.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.58% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.75% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 102.94.
