Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 2.00% or 43.00 points to trade at 2,195.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 1.57% or 18.00 points to end at 1,166.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was up 1.54% or 1,950.00 points to 128,950.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 3.54% or 206.00 points to trade at 5,610.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 3.37% or 1,910.00 points to end at 54,780.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was down 3.04% or 850.00 points to 27,100.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 318 to 130 and 90 ended unchanged.
Shares in Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.54% or 1,950.00 to 128,950.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.56% or 0.37 to $65.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.35% or 0.24 to hit $69.06 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 3.39 to trade at $2,922.61 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.02% to 3.61, while EUR/ILS rose 0.28% to 3.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 103.97.
