Wells Fargo: Tesla’s short-term lift doesn’t resolve long-term concerns
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Biomed and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.38% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 1.74% or 2,960.00 points to trade at 173,080.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) added 1.64% or 2,300.00 points to end at 142,500.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was up 1.45% or 60.00 points to 4,205.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 3.87% or 2,310.00 points to trade at 57,450.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 3.36% or 740.00 points to end at 21,310.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 2.28% or 1,320.00 points to 56,600.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 335 to 122 and 81 ended unchanged.
Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.36% or 740.00 to 21,310.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.31% or 1.60 to $70.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.99% or 1.45 to hit $74.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.30% or 40.50 to trade at $3,154.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.05% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS rose 0.80% to 4.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 103.92.
