Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 3.56% or 4,930.00 points to trade at 143,330.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 2.41% or 1,400.00 points to end at 59,550.00 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was up 1.52% or 55.00 points to 3,680.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE), which fell 3.25% or 259.00 points to trade at 7,710.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 3.22% or 78.00 points to end at 2,342.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was down 2.78% or 184.00 points to 6,446.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 288 to 167 and 82 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.13% or 0.08 to $61.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.18% or 0.12 to hit $65.29 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 51.49 to trade at $3,238.79 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.28% to 3.54, while EUR/ILS rose 0.56% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 100.12.
