Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 4.44% or 2,930.00 points to trade at 68,930.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) added 1.75% or 220.00 points to end at 12,820.00 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was up 1.40% or 330.00 points to 23,930.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 5.12% or 550.00 points to trade at 10,200.00 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) declined 2.86% or 80.00 points to end at 2,720.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 2.67% or 67.00 points to 2,438.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 220 to 219 and 101 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.12% or 550.00 to 10,200.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.96% or 0.86 to $90.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.69% or 0.65 to hit $94.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 4.55 to trade at $1,950.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.34% to 3.82, while EUR/ILS rose 0.66% to 4.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 104.76.
