Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shufersal (TASE:SAE), which rose 2.66% or 75.00 points to trade at 2,897.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 2.51% or 83.00 points to end at 3,392.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.49% or 18.00 points to 1,230.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 2.04% or 1,490.00 points to trade at 71,510.00 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 1.95% or 163.00 points to end at 8,190.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was down 1.64% or 20.00 points to 1,201.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 290 to 233 and 1 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.88% or 1.81 to $97.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.76% or 1.77 to hit $102.35 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 10.60 to trade at $1,948.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.08% to 3.23, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.02% to 3.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 99.79.
