Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 3.51% or 26 points to trade at 766 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 3.10% or 74 points to end at 2462 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 2.73% or 350 points to 13150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which fell 3.00% or 49 points to trade at 1584 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 2.79% or 2050 points to end at 71400 and Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TASE:FATTAL) was down 2.21% or 1180 points to 52100.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 203 to 172 and 41 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.69% or 0.89 to $53.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.30% or 0.76 to hit $59.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 8.90 to trade at $1504.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.88% to 3.5107, while EUR/ILS rose 0.95% to 3.8556.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 98.567.
