Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which rose 3.10% or 1820 points to trade at 60450 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 2.67% or 670 points to end at 25750 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 1.89% or 29 points to 1562 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which fell 5.21% or 970.0 points to trade at 17650.0 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 4.10% or 82 points to end at 1917 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was down 3.72% or 329 points to 8515.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 301 to 93 and 107 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.27% or 0.58 to $46.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.20% or 0.58 to hit $48.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.45 to trade at $1268.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.25% to 3.5404, while EUR/ILS rose 0.34% to 3.9657.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 97.22.
