Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Isramco L (TA:ISRAp), which rose 3.32% or 2.2 points to trade at 68.4 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) added 3.03% or 46 points to end at 1565 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 2.36% or 1500 points to 65190 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Partner (TA:PTNR), which fell 3.44% or 63 points to trade at 1769 at the close. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) declined 2.18% or 3.2 points to end at 143.7 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) was down 1.88% or 370 points to 19290.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 158 and 95 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.52% or 1.25 to $48.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.50% or 1.31 to hit $51.10 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.77 to trade at $1266.97 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.00% to 3.6376, while EUR/ILS fell 0.36% to 3.9524.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 99.09.
