Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.18%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL), which rose 2.44% or 80 points to trade at 3361 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TA:HARL) added 2.38% or 48 points to end at 2067 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 1.92% or 26 points to 1383 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TA:BIG), which fell 2.67% or 680 points to trade at 24800 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 2.16% or 186 points to end at 8416 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was down 2.14% or 450 points to 20540.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 224 to 187 and 7 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.34% or 0.60 to $45.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.33% or 0.63 to hit $48.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 3.82 to trade at $1245.28 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.51% to 3.4859, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 3.9821.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 95.46.
