Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 2.05%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which rose 12.89% or 5220 points to trade at 45720 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 7.53% or 88 points to end at 1256 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was up 7.00% or 56 points to 856 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Drilling LP (TASE:DEDRp), which fell 3.57% or 15 points to trade at 405 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 0.91% or 200 points to end at 21700 and Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:GZT) was down 0.42% or 10 points to 2382.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 316 to 88 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 18.59% or 3.79 to $24.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 11.84% or 3.22 to hit $30.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.95 to trade at $1711.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.31% to 3.5169, while EUR/ILS fell 0.91% to 3.8127.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 99.850.
