TSMC Q2 sales jump 39% on robust AI-driven chip demand
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.82% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Dimri (TASE:DIMRI), which rose 7.28% or 2,280.00 points to trade at 33,600.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 7.16% or 186.00 points to end at 2,784.00 and Menora Miv Hld (TASE:MMHD) was up 5.82% or 1,100.00 points to 20,000.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 2.16% or 88.00 points to trade at 3,982.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 1.89% or 540.00 points to end at 28,030.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 1.23% or 1,990.00 points to 159,700.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 369 to 98 and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.84% or 2.74 to $68.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.80% or 2.82 to hit $71.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 36.70 to trade at $3,416.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 3.50% to 3.49, while EUR/ILS fell 3.09% to 4.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 97.41.
