Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Communication and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 4.38% or 1,310.00 points to trade at 31,190.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 3.00% or 1,980.00 points to end at 67,890.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 2.92% or 360.00 points to 12,690.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 4.53% or 255.00 points to trade at 5,370.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 3.29% or 840.00 points to end at 24,670.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) was down 1.67% or 14.00 points to 825.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 319 to 170 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.29% or 840.00 to 24,670.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.40% or 2.87 to $81.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.61% or 2.39 to hit $89.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 9.05 to trade at $1,654.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.52, while EUR/ILS rose 0.38% to 3.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 112.04.
