Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Gazit Globe Ltd (TA:GZT), which rose 2.59% or 68 points to trade at 2698 at the close. Meanwhile, Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) added 2.22% or 840 points to end at 38650 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) was up 2.02% or 890 points to 44970 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 1.44% or 20 points to trade at 1367 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) declined 0.60% or 11 points to end at 1815 and Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:FATTAL) was down 0.52% or 200 points to 38600.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 127 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.85% or 1.44 to $51.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.22% or 1.31 to hit $60.30 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.35 to trade at $1290.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.14% to 3.6674, while EUR/ILS fell 0.13% to 4.1963.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 95.445.
