Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Banking and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.40% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 3.20% or 74 points to trade at 2390 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 3.07% or 500 points to end at 16800 and Liveperson (TA:LPSN) was up 2.96% or 244 points to 8477 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 11.32% or 3090 points to trade at 24200 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 0.36% or 31 points to end at 8566 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was down 0.28% or 16 points to 5731.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 223 to 163 and 33 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.94% or 0.58 to $61.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.79% or 0.57 to hit $71.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1225.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.04% to 3.6675, while EUR/ILS fell 0.08% to 4.1895.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 96.03.
