Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which rose 3.02% or 228 points to trade at 7768 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 2.87% or 38 points to end at 1364 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 2.73% or 37 points to 1393 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 1.98% or 56 points to trade at 2773 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 1.68% or 57 points to end at 3330 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was down 1.08% or 30 points to 2740.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 250 to 249 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.46% or 0.36 to $77.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.56% or 0.45 to hit $80.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 6.25 to trade at $1863.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.33% to 3.0855, while EUR/ILS rose 0.58% to 3.5013.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 95.722.
