Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 4.01% or 990.00 points to trade at 25,660.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 2.61% or 140.00 points to end at 5,510.00 and Leumi (TASE:LUMI) was up 2.44% or 77.00 points to 3,239.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 5.87% or 38.20 points to trade at 613.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 3.15% or 68.00 points to end at 2,092.00 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was down 3.05% or 137.00 points to 4,351.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 257 to 232 and 33 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.87% or 38.20 to 613.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.36% or 1.12 to $83.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.43% or 1.29 to hit $91.32 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.36% or 22.45 to trade at $1,633.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.51% to 3.54, while EUR/ILS fell 0.33% to 3.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.72% at 112.80.
