Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Isramco L (TA:ISRAp), which rose 6.17% or 3.9 points to trade at 67.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) added 2.47% or 3.5 points to end at 145.0 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 2.43% or 37 points to 1560 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cellcom (TA:CEL), which fell 0.68% or 26 points to trade at 3799 at the close. First International Bank of Israel (TA:FTIN) declined 0.60% or 36 points to end at 5985 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was down 0.29% or 18 points to 6200.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 135 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.43% or 0.22 to $51.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.55% or 0.30 to hit $54.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.75% or 9.40 to trade at $1249.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.00% to 3.6511, while EUR/ILS fell 0.13% to 3.8922.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 100.51.
