Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Miscellaneous Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 2.97%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH), which rose 21.18% or 104 points to trade at 595 at the close. Meanwhile, Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:MDRN) added 10.29% or 14 points to end at 150 and Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (JK:EMTK) was up 9.50% or 950 points to 10000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW), which fell 10.00% or 35 points to trade at 315 at the close. Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) declined 9.94% or 17.00 points to end at 154.00 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was down 9.91% or 42 points to 382.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 244 to 65 and 45 ended unchanged.
Shares in Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) fell to all time lows; down 9.94% or 17.00 to 154.00. Shares in Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) fell to 3-years lows; falling 9.91% or 42 to 382.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.81% or 0.37 to $45.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.05% or 0.52 to hit $48.53 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.39% or 16.30 to trade at $1159.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.78% to 13645.0, while AUD/IDR fell 1.07% to 9643.50.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.23% at 97.45.
