Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Trade, Financials and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS), which rose 33.56% or 49.00 points to trade at 195.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Evergreen Invesco Tbk (JK:GREN) added 32.64% or 63 points to end at 256 and Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) was up 21.85% or 66 points to 368 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pikko Land Development Tbk (JK:RODA), which fell 22.60% or 47 points to trade at 161 at the close. Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) declined 20.67% or 31.00 points to end at 119.00 and Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) was down 15.44% or 21 points to 115.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 191 to 138 and 120 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pikko Land Development Tbk (JK:RODA) fell to 5-year lows; losing 22.60% or 47 to 161.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.25% or 0.13 to $51.60 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.37% or 0.20 to hit $54.35 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.40 to trade at $1252.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.01% to 13308.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.43% to 9996.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 97.27.
