Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Property sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Aneka Tambang Persero Tbk (JK:ANTM), which rose 24.22% or 116 points to trade at 595 at the close. Meanwhile, Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (JK:KOBX) added 16.41% or 21 points to end at 149 and Bukaka Teknik Utama Tbk Pt (JK:BUKK) was up 11.83% or 110 points to 1040 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS), which fell 23.74% or 165 points to trade at 530 at the close. Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN) declined 11.43% or 800 points to end at 6200 and Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo (JK:SOBI) was down 10.00% or 300 points to 2700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 189 to 137 and 46 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.67% or 0.76 to $45.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.70% or 0.84 to hit $50.36 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.28% or 3.10 to trade at $1092.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.02% to 13477.0, while AUD/IDR rose 1.21% to 9961.00.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 97.40.
