Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Trade, Miscellaneous Industry and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bakrieland Development Tbk (JK:ELTY), which rose 34.38% or 22 points to trade at 86 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga (JK:AGRO) added 25.00% or 119 points to end at 595 and Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) was up 23.13% or 62 points to 330 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pikko Land Development Tbk (JK:RODA), which fell 25.00% or 112 points to trade at 336 at the close. Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) declined 19.43% or 68.00 points to end at 282.00 and Hd Capital Tbk (JK:HADE) was down 15.94% or 11.00 points to 58.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 200 to 118 and 106 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bakrieland Development Tbk (JK:ELTY) rose to 3-years highs; up 34.38% or 22 to 86. Shares in Pikko Land Development Tbk (JK:RODA) fell to 3-years lows; down 25.00% or 112 to 336. Shares in Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga (JK:AGRO) rose to all time highs; gaining 25.00% or 119 to 595. Shares in Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) fell to 3-years lows; falling 19.43% or 68.00 to 282.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.05% or 0.55 to $51.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.73% or 0.40 to hit $54.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1237.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.20% to 13324.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.15% to 10193.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.53.
