Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Property sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (JK:ICON), which rose 29.73% or 55 points to trade at 240 at the close. Meanwhile, Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) added 28.57% or 40.00 points to end at 180.00 and Lautan Luas Tbk (JK:LTLS) was up 14.91% or 48 points to 370 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bayu Buana Tbk (JK:BAYU), which fell 10.00% or 140 points to trade at 1260 at the close. Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) declined 9.63% or 650 points to end at 6100 and Magna Finance Tbk (JK:MGNA) was down 9.59% or 7.00 points to 66.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 140 to 137 and 108 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.04% or 0.02 to $49.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.14% or 0.07 to hit $49.79 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.36% or 4.35 to trade at $1219.05 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was unchanged 0.00% to 13655.0, while AUD/IDR rose 1000.00% to 9810.55.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 95.27.
