Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Mining and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Plaza Indonesia Realty Tbk (JK:PLIN), which rose 16.50% or 495 points to trade at 3495 at the close. Meanwhile, Asuransi Ramayana Tbk (JK:ASRM) added 14.67% or 165 points to end at 1290 and Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk (JK:AMAG) was up 12.93% or 41 points to 358 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Of India Indonesia Tbk (JK:BSWD), which fell 20.00% or 1120 points to trade at 4480 at the close. Arwana Citramulia Tbk (JK:ARNA) declined 14.84% or 115 points to end at 660 and Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) was down 14.29% or 70 points to 420.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 194 to 158 and 38 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arwana Citramulia Tbk (JK:ARNA) fell to 52-week lows; down 14.84% or 115 to 660. Shares in Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk (JK:AMAG) rose to all time highs; rising 12.93% or 41 to 358.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.35% or 0.20 to $55.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $62.65 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1187.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.05% to 12935.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.47% to 9975.75.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 98.14.
