Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture, Basic Industry and Property sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Maha Properti Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:MPRO), which rose 1,181.82% or 1,300.00 points to trade at 1,410.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk (JK:MKPI) added 1,180.95% or 24,800.00 points to end at 26,900.00 and Damai Sejahtera Abadi Tbk PT (JK:UFOE) was up 135.64% or 137.00 points to 238.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk PT (JK:BLTA), which fell 99.78% or 8,481.00 points to trade at 19.00 at the close. Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN) declined 97.33% or 2,920.00 points to end at 80.00 and Quantum Clovera Investama Tbk PT (JK:KREN) was down 97.21% or 209.00 points to 6.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 359 to 299 and 178 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.25% or 1.68 to $76.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.06% or 1.61 to hit $79.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 9.85 to trade at $2,461.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.21% to 16,287.55, while AUD/IDR fell 0.87% to 10,575.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 104.06.
