Bitcoin price today: inks new record high near $119k as ETF inflows surge
Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Manufacturing and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 1.62%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Eagle High Plantations Tbk (JK:BWPT), which rose 34.78% or 48 points to trade at 186 at the close. Meanwhile, Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (JK:UNIC) added 22.45% or 275.00 points to end at 1500.00 and Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR) was up 20.00% or 200 points to 1200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (JK:SRAJ), which fell 9.76% or 29 points to trade at 268 at the close. Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) declined 9.70% or 29 points to end at 270 and Bentoel International Investama (JK:RMBA) was down 9.62% or 50 points to 470.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 184 to 115 and 57 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) fell to 3-years lows; down 9.70% or 29 to 270.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.90% or 1.23 to $30.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.70% or 0.88 to hit $31.69 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.13% or 1.50 to trade at $1118.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.20% to 13872.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.01% to 9729.75.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.02% at 99.05.
