Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Financials and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.95%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA), which rose 20.54% or 23.00 points to trade at 135.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pelangi Indah Canindo Tbk (JK:PICO) added 12.87% or 26 points to end at 228 and Champion Pacific Indonesia Tbk (JK:IGAR) was up 11.92% or 46 points to 432 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indofarma Tbk (JK:INAF), which fell 9.77% or 125 points to trade at 1155 at the close. Mustika Ratu Tbk (JK:MRAT) declined 9.40% or 22 points to end at 212 and Bank Mayapada Internasional (JK:MAYA) was down 7.81% or 125 points to 1475.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 157 to 135 and 91 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pelangi Indah Canindo Tbk (JK:PICO) rose to 3-years highs; up 12.87% or 26 to 228. Shares in Champion Pacific Indonesia Tbk (JK:IGAR) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 11.92% or 46 to 432.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.87% or 1.33 to $47.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.83% or 1.35 to hit $49.12 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.89% or 11.75 to trade at $1312.95 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 1.62% to 13173.0, while AUD/IDR fell 2.27% to 9801.75.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.57% at 96.00.
