Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Agriculture and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Indospring Tbk (JK:INDS), which rose 25.00% or 90 points to trade at 450 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 (JK:SDRA) added 15.00% or 150 points to end at 1150 and Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) was up 14.29% or 15 points to 120 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Betonjaya Manunggal Tbk (JK:BTON), which fell 10.00% or 50 points to trade at 450 at the close. Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) declined 10.00% or 12.00 points to end at 108.00 and Hotel Mandarine Regency Tbk (JK:HOME) was down 9.80% or 20 points to 184.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 180 to 143 and 45 ended unchanged.
Shares in Betonjaya Manunggal Tbk (JK:BTON) fell to 3-years lows; down 10.00% or 50 to 450.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.27% or 0.59 to $45.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.44% or 0.21 to hit $48.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1175.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.16% to 13765.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.86% to 9886.80.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 94.89.
