Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 2.35%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk PT (JK:SMIL), which rose 34.56% or 47.00 points to trade at 183.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Remala Abadi Tbk PT (JK:DATA) added 23.50% or 215.00 points to end at 1,130.00 and Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk PT (JK:PMMP) was up 21.82% or 12.00 points to 67.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN), which fell 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 at the close. DMS Propertindo Tbk PT (JK:KOTA) declined 12.50% or 1.00 points to end at 7.00 and Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) was down 11.11% or 1.00 points to 8.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 391 to 245 and 197 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.04% or 0.03 to $70.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.58% or 0.43 to hit $75.17 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 10.00 to trade at $2,910.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.34% to 16,201.90, while AUD/IDR rose 0.41% to 10,325.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 106.76.
